The SP-502 brings you the best parts of CrimeStopper security and remote starts all in one small, compact device. This system comes with (1) 2-way LCD transmitter that is rechargeable and has up to 3000 feet of range and a companion 5 button remote with 2000 feet of range.
These remotes offer lock/arm, unlock/disarm, trunk release, remote start and multi-vehicle option. The 2-way transmitter confirms all commands almost instantly with easy-to-understand icons. It will alert you of alarm triggers by beeping and vibrating if an alarm trigger has been activated.
The LCD screen also will turn red when the security system alerts you via the transmitter that something has triggered one of the sensors on the vehicle. The transmitter can be set into silent mode which will only vibrate when alerting you of a possible intrusion, or you can reverse that by having only audible alerts with no vibrations.
The transmitter can also go full silent where the audible alerts and vibrating results shut off and only visual alerts will be on. This system offers all of the features you are looking for in a security system, such as starter kill output, dual stage shock sensor, single tone siren, drivers priority and double pulse unlock.
It also includes (3) additional auxiliary outputs which can be used for any kind of extra feature you would like to add. Some examples are window roll up, sunroof open/close, power sliding doors or whatever else you can come up with. Some of these features may require extra parts to complete.
Being able to remote start your vehicle is a great convenience feature that you will enjoy whether you live in the coldest, hottest climates or somewhere in between. Being able to warm up or cool down your vehicle prior to getting in makes this a must have option.
The SP-502 remote start can also be set to start automatically every couple of hours as well, this will allow you to ensure that the engine gets warmed up every four hours to help reduce any chance of fluids freezing up. In addition to a timed start it also has a Turbo timer.
This will allow the vehicle to stay running up to 5 minutes after you turn the ignition switch off so that the turbo may cool down. Another interesting feature is that this system can be controlled by your OEM keyless transmitter. The lock, unlock, and trunk will work just like they did from the factory only now it will also arm and disarm the aftermarket system as well. The best part is you will be able to start it by pressing the lock button 3 times as well. (This feature is only available with a data module that monitors to door lock system in the vehicle.)
